Nikaxu at Deep Blue Forum 2026

October 27, 2026

1 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K1P 5W1, Canada

Nikaxu will be at Deep Blue Forum 2026 in Ottawa on October 27, for conversations on sustainment and data in Canada’s naval programs

Deep Blue Forum is Vanguard Defence’s annual conference on Canada’s underwater domain. It brings together the Royal Canadian Navy, the Department of National Defence, and the primes and suppliers building Canada’s subsurface capability. This year’s program focuses on persistent underwater surveillance. It includes sessions on bringing uncrewed systems into fleet service, on submarine sustainment, and on how the new Defence Investment Agency will work with industry.

Nikaxu works with the organizations that build and maintain Canada’s naval and Coast Guard fleets.

We start with data they already hold, such as equipment sensor readings, maintenance records and production systems. From that, we build systems that help their teams make maintenance and production decisions earlier. Each system is designed around the client’s own processes and goes into production use. The client owns what we build. This keeps the intellectual property in Canada. For primes and suppliers with ITB obligations, the work can count toward those obligations.

Jussi Niemi, CEO, and Vladyslav Sokol, PhD, VP of AI, will be on the floor throughout the day and at the evening reception.
