Nikaxu at the CADSI Canadian Armed Forces Outlook

April 7-9, 2026

55 Colonel By Dr, Ottawa, ON K1N 9J2, Canada

Nikaxu attends the Canadian Armed Forces Outlook in Ottawa, where Army, Air Force, and Navy command brief industry directly on capability priorities and procurement direction

Jussi Niemi and Vladyslav Sokol represent Nikaxu in Ottawa April 7–9 for the Canadian Armed Forces Outlook, organized by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI). Each of the three days is dedicated to one branch (Army, Air Force, Navy), with command briefings on capability priorities and procurement direction, plus the accompanying Project Blueprints that lay out specifications and timelines for major defence projects.

The conversations we care about aren't happening at generic technology conferences. They're happening where operational leaders and procurement decision-makers are working through questions we build around every day: how to keep complex assets mission-ready when maintenance capacity is constrained, and how to give crews and planners better information earlier without adding to what they already have to track.

These aren't abstract questions for us. The systems Nikaxu builds for commercial maritime operations are designed from the ground up for the same constraints that define defence programs: asset-intensive environments, long lifecycles, and low tolerance for failure in production. That overlap is what makes this briefing series directly relevant to our work.

If you'll be at the Outlook and want to compare notes on predictive maintenance, crew readiness, or where custom AI development is actually delivering in defence sustainment, reach out to Jussi or Vlad directly.
